November 25 Black Friday ShoppingEvery year, the day after thanksgiving, all the stores have the black Friday sale, most of them will open arround 5:00a.m., and a lot of people woke up at the midnight to try to take the first place in lines, especially for those electronic store like Best Buy, Circuit City, RadioShack, Staples and Office Max, sounds crazy, especially in the New England area, it's freezing outside at night or morning time, this year, we don't really need too much stuff, all we need is a larger hard drive and a LCD monitor, but we still did a little bit homework the night before...we decided we gonna only go to one store, Staples, since it has almost everything we want there, hehe.....Staples will open at 6:00a.m., thanks god, it's not 5, i have to go to work at 8:30, we circled the things we want to buy, set the alarm clock at 5:30am, and went to bed...hehe....in the morning, of course Rob doesnot want to get up, lazy, but I pulled his ears to wake him up, haha....it's 5:45am already, we'd better hurry up if we want to be there before the store open, rush to put some warm clothes on since it's very windy and cold outside, and brushed teeth quick, rushed out of the door, by the time we got there, it's 5:28, wow, it's almost 100 people in line already....we thought we not gonna get the stuff we want...but Rob and I moved fast, he went to grab the hard drive, I went to grab the USB flash drive, and a Laminator which can be used for pictures or imortant pictures, and we got the 19" LCD monitor, hehe....Luckily I got the last 512M USB flash drive, one man and his wife were there looking for the flash drive too, but I am faster, I grabbed it, and then the man said"Damn, it's just in front of me". I felt bad for them....

at my lunch break, I went to Kohl's bought two cashmere sweaters, one for my father $43.00 and one for my mother $32, I am gonna send them a new year package.
 Thanksgiving...
Time goes by so fast, it’s Thanksgiving again, feels like we just had Thanksgiving not too long ago....anyway, due to our small house, we don’t enough space to cook a big Thanksgiving dinner, we decide to go out eat, Rob booked the table the week before Thanksgiving, his sister’s is busy getting ready to move next week, so she couldnot join us, finally only me, Rob, Mom and Rayden we went to eat together.
It’s a local family owned restaurant, it’s been there for many many years, we went there at 1:30p.m., the food is delicious, and the price is very very reasonable, for the roast turkey dinner, it only costs $10.95, and it comes with Salad, chicken rice soup, and main meal turkey, mashed patato, sweet patato, butternut squash, turnip carrot, baby carrots and of course, turkey and stuffing, Rayden’s meal only cost $5.00, and after the meal, you can have dessert and coffee without extra charge....it’s really worth the money. We couldnot finish all of our meal and we have to take some home....when we get home, we all feel a little bit tired, Rob told me turkey makes your body tired and sleepy, I guess that’ true, I almost fell asleep, then arround 5:30, we went to visit his friend Eric and his wife Deanna, they have two girls, arround Rayden’s age, they had a really good time together...
November 22 A breathtaking morningI was waken up by a deafening thunder this morning arround 5:00am, it’s so loud then I couldnot fall asleep again....but Lazy Me still stayed in bed till 8:00a.m., then I rushed to get ready, prepared breakfast and some snack, by the time I walked out of the door, it’s 8:40a.m. already, damn, gonna be late again.
It’s downpouring outside, which means I have to drive very slow, usually I take Route 6 instead of the highway, this morning, I did the same thing, but I regretted big times later, there were so many puddles on Route 6, everytime I passed one puddle, my wheel turned, which made me very nervous, dangerous a, but I couldnot get back to the highway, I had to brave it out and move forward, the rain was so heavy, I hardly could see anything in front of me, I tried to switch lanes often to avoid the puddle, but it’s everywhere, the rain was so heavy, there’s not enough time for the water get drained, feels like I was driving in the river, I tried to stay in the middle of two lanes since there’s no car behind me, it still didnot turn better....
I had to call work to let them know that I would be 5 minutes late, my boss said, “don’t worry, just stay safe, take your time”. Finally I arrived the campus, thanks god, nothing happened, on both sides of the main road of the campus, you can see the water is flowing like stream in the ditch, the drain system is great on the campus....great....when I stepped into my office, my coworkers said you made it, yeah, I did, scary though, she said she saw two accident on the highway, the traffic were all backed up, I guess it’s good that I didnot take the highway...hehe...Hopefully the rain will stop when I get out of work tonight.... November 21 recent update..:)I have been very lazy lately, don't want to do housework, don't want to cook, don't want to write blogs.... It’s Monday again, the weather is getting colder, every morning, I have to struggle in bed to get up....ai, I am the kinda person will stay in bed till the last minute....5555 .....
Thanksgiving is coming on this Thursday, thanksgiving supposes to be a family get-together day, eating turkeys, talking about the family stuff, last year, me, Rob, and his parents we went to a nice restaurant in Newport by the water...it’s a very nice meal, this year, we don’t know where we gonna go yet, if we have a bigger place, we would like to cook a thanksgiving meal, but our place is too small to fit so many people. Rob’s parents haven’t decided yet, Rob’s mom is a procratinator (which means sb. won’t take action till the last minute), the good thing is Rob booked a thanksgiving dinner at a local restaurant.....just in case nobody will cook, then we can go out eat...hehe....it’s not a bad thing, no dishes at least....
I havenot started any X'mas shopping yet, it's really a pain, I try to buy something different for everybody each year, meanwhile, I want to buy something useful for everybody too.....it's not easy a....
Rob's birthday is coming in Dec., what should I buy for him? Last year I bought him a Radar detector, it's been very useful, so far he hasnot been pulled over yet...thanks god, I always tell him it's a shame that he is at the same driving step with me, step 13, and he's been driving for almost 20 years, I've only been driving for 2 years.... November 17 will update my blog soonhi, everyone, I have been very busy lately, have been preparing for my exam I gonna take tonight, after the exam I will come back to update my blog....hehe...Have a nice day!!!! 
November 11 veteran's day今天是VETERAN‘S DAY，不用上班，真好，呵呵，本来和萝卜说好去纽约的，还和WJ也说了，结果这个家伙一大早就不舒服，昨天晚上他就喊喉咙痛，我没理他，今天早上头也有点发热，美国人的体质好差啊，看上去那么壮的，抵抗力那么弱，真是的，我这个弱女子也比他好的多
 。妞约计划泡汤，只好附近活动，今天外面蛮冷，不过太阳很好，决定出去HAVE A NICE DRIVE，去了邻近一个TOWN叫WESTPORT，那里的房子好大好漂亮，都是50万以上的，太贵了，估户主要么是医生，要么是律师，唉，又受了下刺激。 ，回来在我们TOWN的WATER FRONT PARK走了一圈，风很大，两只耳朵差点冻掉了
 ，不过运动一下感觉特别好，现在人越来越懒了，在国内常常走路，现在是能开车就不走路。越来越胖拉。晚上回来吃了一大碗炒饭，外加一大盘红烧猪蹄，没前途了November 09 being lazy..:p最近很懒，发生了一些意外的事情，生活原来真的是变化莫测的，但是我们又不能改变，也许很多事都是命中注定的吧。。。呵呵 前天给弟弟寄了个包裹，邮费就花掉５０多，实际上加上邮费，比国内也便宜不了多少，但是总是觉得自己寄的和他自己买的不一样，实际上人离家那么远，我这个做姐姐的真的什么都帮不上，只能在精神上和物质上支持他一下。。。。。 |
, Rob is worse than me, every year, I am always the one to buy all the X'mas gifts, he cannot even remember his parents birthday, I am the one always have to remind him...ai, Man a, very careless.....
